March always feels like the longest month of the year for carp anglers. We’re close. Close enough to start thinking about it every day. Close enough that you can almost picture that first slow take, the alarm breaking the quiet, and the rod finally bending again after a long winter. Across Canada, the ice is still holding on in many places, but spring is knocking at the door. The days are getting longer, the sun has a little more warmth to it, and anglers everywhere are starting to dust off their gear and think about where that first session might happen.
